Duopress · Privacy
Last updated 26 September 2026.
Duopress needs no account and has no server. Your photos and collages stay on your iPhone and iPad: they are never uploaded, never sent to an AI service and never seen by us. We do not sell data.
Duopress picks photos with the system photo picker, which runs outside the app, so the app never has access to your photo library: it receives only the photos you choose. It copies them into its own storage on your device so your collages keep working, and it processes them (cutouts, filters, face-aware framing) on the device. It asks for one permission, to add a finished collage to your photo library, the first time you tap Save to Photos. Saved and shared images carry no location or camera details.
Collages are stored in the app's own storage on your device and are included in your device's iCloud or computer backups. They are deleted only when you delete them, or when you delete the app.
We use Google's Firebase Analytics to count how Duopress is used (for example which tools are opened, how many photos a collage has in broad bands, whether a save went to Photos or a share sheet) and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports. These carry an app instance identifier, device type and system version. They never carry your photos, anything you type, file names or image sizes tied to you.
Without Pro, Duopress shows a small banner on Home and, from your third save, an ad when you leave the save screen for Home, at most once every five minutes. Ads never appear while you edit. They are served by Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising identifier and advertising data. Where the law requires it (the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and some US states), Google's consent form asks first, and you can change your answer any time in Settings, Privacy choices. On iPhone and iPad, Duopress asks whether it may use tracking for ads; if you say no, ads are not personalised. Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences. Pro removes all ads.
Duopress Pro is bought through the App Store. We never see your payment details; the App Store tells the app only that Pro is owned. A purchase event is counted in analytics, without your identity.
Duopress is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Ads are limited to general-audience content.
