- Words in solid boxes are everyday words. Dashed boxes are rarer words that are still real English, the kind a word game accepts as a bonus.
- The list covers US and British spellings and leaves out names, abbreviations and offensive words. It is the same list the Anagrams game uses.

Tips for unscrambling words
- Look for common endings first: -ING, -ED, -ER, -EST and -S unlock many longer words.
- Pair consonants that often sit together, such as TH, CH, SH, ST, TR and BL.
- Move the vowels around: most English words of four letters or more have a vowel in the second or third place.
- Find the short words, then build on them: from ART you get RATE, TEAR, TREAT and more.
